The Shetland Sailing Centre in conjunction with Lerwick Boating Club provides training in the town of Lerwick. All sailing craft are based in the small boat dock, but rescue craft/ powerboats are launched from the LBC pier.

Boats used for training:- Pico's , Mirrors , Sport 14's and 420's plus RIB's for power courses.
